Welcome & Orientation

The students are at the heart of everything we do at St Joseph’s. We are here to help boys, entrusted to us by their families, to find genuine fulfilment, happiness and security.
Welcome to St Joseph's College.
Established by the Marist Brothers in 1881, St Joseph’s is firmly founded on the Marist values of humility, presence, simplicity, love of work, family spirit and the way of Mary. Staff, students and families incorporate the Marist spirit in all they do, creating an environment in which boys are nurtured to become good men and to realise their potential.
St Joseph’s College is a vibrant home to 1,100 students. The boys are at the heart of all we do, with each student receiving individual care and attention. With a long history of excellence in boys’ education, the College has the experience, expertise and enthusiasm to provide exceptional care and opportunities for its students.
St Joseph’s College is renowned for providing a well-balanced curriculum, incorporating a rigorous academic program and a wide range of co-curricular and sport offerings. St Joseph’s College was a founding member of the Athletic Association of Great Public Schools (GPS) and participates in the GPS sporting competitions of NSW.
College staff are professional and committed to providing each boy the highest quality education, care and guidance. Staff work in close partnership with families to ensure boys are given every opportunity to become men of intelligence, leadership, compassion, resilience and faith.
