Medical Appointments

All parents (of day students and boarders) are asked to enter the details of their son’s appointments with other doctors or health professionals at least one day before the appointment through Orah.

Students can travel to appointments by bus or taxi – a Cabcharge voucher will be issued to the student and it will then be charged to your school fees account.

A GAP student is sometimes available to go on appointments with the younger students. Please note that the GAP students only go by taxi and NOT public transport.

In an emergency, students are taken to hospital via ambulance. If a staff member is available they will accompany the student. Parents will be notified of this at the earliest possible convenience. If it is deemed necessary that your son is transferred to hospital by ambulance you will need to claim the cost of this through your Private Health Fund.
