Organising Uniforms

The Uniform Shop is open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm during term time.

It will close for the Christmas holiday period on Friday, 12 December 2025 at 3:00pm.

Holiday Trading Hours for 2025 are as follows:

– Thursday, 4 December to Friday, 5 December – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

– Monday, 8 December to Friday, 12 December – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Holiday Trading Hours for 2026 are as follows:

– Monday, 12 January to Friday, 16 January – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

– Monday, 19 January to Friday, 23 January – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

– (Closed Monday, 26 January 2026)

Please note during holiday hours no fittings or walk ins are allowed without an appointment. Please ensure that you have made your uniform fitting appointment by 28 November 2025.

It is recommended ALL new students to the College be fitted before the Uniform Shop closes in December.

Families wishing to make a Uniform Shop fitting appointment will need to book their appointment by clicking the link below.

St Joseph’s College in partnership with the SJC Parents & Friends Association operates The Joeys Clothing Pool. This service provides a selection of pre-loved uniforms for Years 7 to 12. The Clothing Pool has a great selection of good quality, pre-loved academic and all sports uniforms as well as Blazers and will meet all of your son’s uniform requirements.

Express Service

Orientation Day is extremely busy. To help streamline your order we suggest you email joeysclothingpool@gmail.com with the subject line “Express Service” Please include details such as: Sons name, estimate or known size and specific items needed (incl sport) and quantity of each item. The P & F volunteers will do their best to select items requested and have them ready for your son to try on with you at the completion of his Orientation Day.

The Clothing Pool will be open on both Year 7 and Years 8-11 Orientation Days from 2.00 pm until 5.00 pm. It is also open on Fridays from 3.00pm to 5.00 pm during term time. Any enquires for the Clothing Pool can be directed E: joeysclothingpool@gmail.com.

The lovely team of volunteers are ready & waiting to help you. All money raised by the Clothing Pool goes directly to the Parents & Friends Association.

Full boarders, weekly boarders and day students are required to purchase sew-on laundry tags which have a student’s full name and laundry number (ID number). This ensures clear identification of similar or identical clothing items when lost or misplaced. Laundry tags can be purchased online through Cash’s Labels. You will be advised of your son(s) ID number via a separate email.

The preferred style is Standard Style 9 – Red

The minimum order for laundry tags is two dozen. You may like to order more to last the duration of your son(s) time at Joeys.

Details of the College’s Sports Uniform is available on the Sports page of this site. Please note that Sports Uniform should not be purchased until 2026 when your son has commenced at the College and is confirmed in his Summer sport.

The College policy is that the boys’ hair “must be tidy and neither grown nor groomed in an extreme or exaggerated fashion.” The following is not permitted: steps, undercutting, fades, layering, gel, colour variations, too long (over collar and ears) or too short (not able to be parted). Whilst at the College, boys are able to have a haircut on an allocated evening and this service can be debited to their account. Alternatively, there are several local hairdressers they may visit.
