This subject explores the diversity of life from a molecular to a biological systems level.
The course examines the interactions between living things and the environments in which they live. It explores the application of biology and its significance in finding solutions to health and sustainability issues in a changing world.
A student of Biology would need:
An ability to read and synthesise information from a variety of sources
An appreciation of the interconnectedness of biological ideas
To be comfortable with graphs, tables and other visual stimulus to communicate ideas
Basic levels of numeracy (5.2 level mathematics or higher)
