  • Industrial Technology is a practical based course where students can focus on one specific field in either
  • Students best suited to this course should have interest and ability in workshop processes, strong organisation skills to independently manage projects and good problem solving skills.
  • A substantial portfolio and extended use of Autodesk Fusion accompanies each practical task.
  • Major Work:

    In Semester Two of the year 10 course students have the opportunity to explore a project addressing individual interests within a given area forming a major contribution to course assessment.

    Why study this subject?

    This course suits students more interested in developing skills within a specific area which would traditionally lead towards apprenticeships in Timber/Metal careers or for just life long learning. The Engineering field provides a springboard to the Stage 6 Engineering course addressing numerous elements and practical experiences establishing a strong foundation of concepts.
