Major Project: Student choice within categories of Product, System or Environment. Students to focus on a genuine need in an area where they have particular interest, ability or incentive to pursue.
Recommendations
- This course is for the creative, innovative, self driven student who has an inquiry mindset and critical thinking capabilities.
- He should display innovative thoughts, good organisational skills, personal drive and motivation to follow a design idea through a process of research and testing.
- Students in this course should be able to express their ideas through a range quality drawing techniques and workshop capabilities.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to this course, however students who studied St5 D&T and/or St5 Graphics will be at an advantage. Competence in CAD Autodesk Fusion 360 is necessary.
